Gard'Vin (wine keeper)

When left uncorked, a wine looses its flavour and aroma. The Gard'Vin takes the air out of the bottle and thus stops the wine's oxidation.

1-Insert the valve which acts as a stopper into the bottle

2- Now insert the vacuum unit into the small hole in the top of the valve and move the handle up and down, this creates a vacuum by pulling the air out of the bottle. The number of pumps needed depends upon the amount of air left in the bottle (normally 4-8 times is enough), but in any case the handle will automatically spring downwards once a sufficient vacuum has been made.

3- Remove the unit and store the bottle upright.

4- To open the bottle again, simply remove the stopper.
